The original SkyTrak, still sold below the Plus. Good indoor accuracy on ball data, older wireless and no club data — but a proven budget-camera pick.
The original SkyTrak still sells below the Plus, and it remains a solid budget-camera pick for indoor practice. Its ball-data accuracy indoors is good, and it works in tight spaces where radar can't — the qualities that made SkyTrak popular in the first place.
Compared with the Plus it has older wireless connectivity and no meaningful club data, and you still need a subscription for course play. Buy it if you want to save money versus the SkyTrak+ and only care about ball data indoors. If you can stretch a little, the Plus's faster connection and improvements are worth it for most buyers.
