The bare-bones, subscription-free radar unit. Good for practice metrics on a budget, but ball-data only and needs space.
The FlightScope Mevo is the bare-bones, subscription-free radar unit — about as cheap as a 'real' launch monitor gets. It gives you honest ball-flight practice numbers and never charges you a recurring fee, which is its whole appeal.
But it's ball-data only (no meaningful club data), it needs a good chunk of depth behind you to track flight, and it's very much a practice tool rather than a full simulator brain. Buy it if you just want reliable carry and ball-speed numbers on a tight budget with zero ongoing cost. If you want club data or proper sim course play, step up to the Mevo+.
